Sport Ice Equipment (Qingdao) Co. Ltd, known as Sport Ice Asia, was established in 2018 by Beijing Ice Snow Winter Sports Equipment Co. Ltd and RUTHERFORD ENGINEERING & DESIGN INC. (Sport Ice USA). Sport Ice Asia's modern factory is located at 58th Qinglonghe Road, Qingdao, China.
The combination of partners brings decades of experience in designing and manufacturing ice resurfacing machines, designing and constructing ice rinks, and managing and operating ice rinks and winter sports venues.
Sport Ice Asia is committed to the growth of winter sports in China and worldwide. We begin by implementing comprehensive management systems for product quality, environmental protection, and occupational health and safety to ensure that our products and services are of the highest quality and produced in a clean, safe, and environmentally friendly operating environment.
With the opening of our factory in China in 2018, we have demonstrated our commitment to the concept of "Designed in America, Built by China." Sport Ice was founded in 2004 in California to meet the growing demand for reliable ice resurfacing machines for smaller and non-traditional ice rinks. From our initial model, we've expanded our product line to include three models, catering to ice rinks ranging from 200 to 2,000 square meters. Our machines have been used on a variety of ice surfaces, including portable and temporary rinks, indoor and outdoor rinks, training facilities, NHL and Olympic-sized rinks, skating paths, traveling ice shows, and even the converted pool deck of a Las Vegas hotel.

Sport Ice and its business partner, Century Star, have a portfolio of over 30 ice rinks located in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the USA. Sport Ice Asia can provide comprehensive ice rink design and construction services, including refrigeration systems, ice floors, dasher boards, and scoreboards.
Sport Ice Asia also offers management, operation, and training services for figure skating, ice hockey, and speed skating programs. Our experienced team has a proven track record in constructing and operating international skating competitions, such as the Four Nations.

In 1999, he founded the first skating club in China, the Century Star Skating Club, which is the first figure skating club in China
Level test promotion base, with a high-level coaching team has so far owned nearly 30 skating rink, and launched the "Music skating" project to explore a set of happy and easy to learn skating courses.
Participated in and drafted the compilation of figure skating events of the "13th Five-Year Plan" national key publication "Winter Olympics Knowledge and Ice and Snow Sports Series Experimental Textbooks" Beijing Olympic Ice and Snow skating section.
Established Huabing Sports Equipment (Qingdao) Co., LTD., involved in the whole industrial chain layout of ice and snow equipment and equipment manufacturing.
Founded the Beijing Ice and Snow Sports Team, and represented Beijing to participate in national competitions and the 14th Winter Games, and cooperated with many provinces and cities to establish its related ice and snow sports teams, and achieved excellent results.
In the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, a total of 11 club athletes represented the Chinese national team, participated in 7 sub-events and 11 sub-events in 4 major sports, and won the top eight in 4 events, respectively: The fifth place in figure skating pairs, the fifth place in figure skating team (2 people), the seventh place in women's curling, and the eighth place in men's speed skating team pursuit.

• With more than 45 years of experience in planning and managing the creation of ice projects, we are a professional developer.
• 1994: Lillehammer, Norwegian Winter Olympics skating venue, training and coaching of ice truck users.
• 2008 to present - Design and manufacture of small, medium and large ice resurfacers.
• 2010: Vancouver - Delivered two Sport Ice224 machines and provided installation and technical support to the Robertson Square Ice Arena.
• USA Hockey Licensed Referee, Level 3 (Ice Referee).
• In 2018, he imported ice resurfacers from the U.S. and set up a factory in China.
