MACHINE LOOMS

All machine looms use Deutsch waterproof connectors, harnesses enclosed in split loom conduit.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

30-liter hydraulic oil tank with filler/breather, suction strainer and return line filtration （10 micron）.

The hydraulic oil tank is built with a “passive heat exchanger” system. The oil tank encircles the vertical auger housing so that the snow passing through the vertical auger cools the hydraulic oil. The hydraulic oil heats the auger housing and reduces icing and snow jams in the vertical auger housing.

3 section manually operated control valve provides for operator control of lift bar, auger motors, and dump tank.

The hydraulic flow has an adjustable flow divider with separate relief valve for the steering circuit.

LIFT BAR

Custom designed and fabricated weldment, hydraulically actuated.

Lift bar stroke （and the resulting down pressure）is adjustable via threaded cylinder rod and clevis. Double P.O. check valve manifold “locks” in down pressure for ice shaving performance.

VERTICAL AUGER

152.4 mm （6”）diameter auger enclosed in steel tube, 330 mm （13.0”）dia slinger for superior snow compaction.

Auger is powered by a Sauer SNM motor via a chain drive. Snow breaker, manually operate.

FINAL DRIVE

Wheels/tires: pneumatic tire and wheel combination. 205mm/50-10, tires studded with tungsten tipped ice studs.

Ground Speed: 16 kph （10 mph）maximum.

Graziano rear axle with brakes: D&D Traction motor mounted directly to axle.

STEERING SYSTEM

Danfoss OSPM hydraulic steering control powering a hydraulic steering cylinder, 356 mm （14”）diameter steering wheel.

CONTROLS

Sevcon solid state traction on heat sink with onboard diagnostics.

OPERATOR’S STATION

Operator compartment contains steering wheel, manual brake pedal with parking brake, directional control switch, accelerator type foot pedal for machine ground speed, and light switch, hydraulic control valve levers, water supply control rod, horn button. A digital display for battery discharge information, diagnostics （fault codes）and hour meter.

All weather captain’s chair （armrests）; Cup holder.
